Pocket Scribe was the brainchild of a group of freelance writers and business consultants, who joined together to form a strong brand, that would later grow to be a recognized name in the copywriting services field.

Our partners and contributors represent a diverse group of interests and experiences. Most of our contributors come from corporate backgrounds, having worked in public relations, sales, or marketing. Others have experience within the public sector, having worked for federal and local governments, as well as, within non-profits, schools and churches. All of our contributors are published writers; many have worked at online or print publications as reporters or editors.

Today, many of our contributors are part-time employees or contractors, while our partners are full-time copywriters and business developers for Pocket Scribe.

At Pocket Scribe, our core business is providing short-term in-house copywriting services. However, we are flexible enough to be able to handle everything from small one-time projects to large ongoing engagements and other retained services.

Because of the diversity of our team of contributors, we also successfully engage clients in other areas, including marketing communications consulting, web site planning and development, desktop publishing and speaking and teaching engagements (i.e. writers' workshops and camps).

Our clients include corporations, small start-up companies, government entities and political candidates, educational institutions, film and music industry clients, and various book and periodical publishers.

Our process begins with you in mind. We have developed an innovative initial engagement program called preScribe, in which one of our well-trained partners, engages you one-on-one to pinpoint and refine your message and communications goals. Following our initial engagement, we prepare for you a brief, yet informative report, with step-by-step recommendations from one of our professional consultants. The completed preScribe Report is returned to you within twenty-four hours and includes a detailed quote (just in case you wish to hire us).
